
Jacqueline K. Crofton was born in London of Russian and Romanian extraction. At the age of 13, she gained a scolorship to Harrow school of Art where she studied anatomical drawing and fine art. The effect of this early formal education is strongly evident in her understanding of the structure of the nude form.
In 1986, Jacqueline illustrated the award winning book of poetry, "Stolen Fire" by Lyubomir Levchev, which is included in the UNESCO library. Her work has also been silkscreen printed in limited editions.
Her works are to be found in numerous private collections in the USA, UK, Japan, France, Spain and New Zealand and her paintings of restaurant scenes have been purchased by several famous restaurants including Langan's Brasserie in London.
Jacqueline has had many successful ehxibitions around the world including France, Spain, America, Tahiti and London.
